I wear a size 11 and most athletic style shoes make my feet look even bigger. I think that's because many shoe manufacturers think a large-sized women's fit is the same shape as a man's foot, but that is definitely not the case: The proportions are totally different. J-41 seems to know the difference. In these shoes, my look almost dainty and feel as if they are being gently cradled. I also have room to wiggle my toes, but my feet do not slip dangerously side to side the way they do in Keens and the like. || Delman - Bruna (Scarlet Patent) - Footwear Fabulous feel, old fashioned look - At first I couldn't believe how comfortable these shoes are. I'm heavy set and these things are amazingly comfortable. 4-8 hours of comfortable wear. Rarely do I get any sort of heel that's reasonably cute and comfortable. These shoes go with dress pants, suits, skirts, dresses, everything. I feel that these are awesome. || Delman - Bruna (Scarlet Patent) - Footwear Great shoe, tricky fit. After reading reviews that this shoe runs a full size smaller than marked, I ordered a 7 when I typically wear an 8. At first the 7s felt great, but then I walked the dog around the block and came home carrying my shoes rather than wearing them. Ouch! I had blisters for days. I love the look of the shoe so much, though, that I exchanged them for a 7.5. What a difference! They look great, feel like slippers, and no more blisters. Suggest the synthetic version for the beach or to get wet. Slightly modified from the original... The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. I've been wearing Tsubos for years, but had never seen any that were less sneaker-like than the ones they became known for. The Lavinia's fabulous--it's a cute, simple shoe that's comfortable that I bought it in the other two colors Zappos carries. I replaced the insole with my custom orthotics, which fit perfectly, and wore them all day with no problems whatsoever. I wear them with skirts and jeans, and even got a compliment from a friend who's a high-end designer shoe snob. They seem to run a little narrow, so I don't know that they'd work for wider feet. But they're perfect for me--these are my new favorite shoes!
