If you are patient enough to reconfigure the lacing on these, you've won half the battle. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard at adjusting them had I paid attention to the other reviewers who stated that the shoes run VERY LARGE. They do. Definitely order a size down from your usual. The insoles on these are incredible, they really do feel like walking on marshmallows after you have worn them for a few weeks. I get stopped constantly by people wanting to know where I got them. Still, the lacing is a pain and in order for the shoe to fit correctly, you pretty much have to work on it to some degree every time you put your feet in them. If these didn't have a back and were just a slide, it would eliminate that. I have never worn them for water sports, but they are very grippy on pavement, rocks, clutch pedals, you name it. The insole is great, they are a unique-looking shoe, but overall pricey for what they are. || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear Cute & Comfy - These are extremely comfortable, nice looking, casual sandals, nice leather, nice look, well made. A little too clunky for business attire. || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear Great summer shoe - At first these shoes felt a little uncomfortable, but after wearing them a couple times they feel food on my feet! || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear Cute, but… The first time that I wore these shoes I got huge blisters on the top on my toes because the leather on the front is pretty tight and rubs up against your toes. They are very cute, I just recommend putting some mole skin or tape on either your toes or on the inside of the leather to help prevent blisters. || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear Cute and comfortable. I love shoes and I'm on my feet a lot. I hate the look of a lot of comfortable shoes but these are cute. I'm not sure if the lack of arch support will be a problem but so far it's good. || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear These sneaks are wonderful - My son loves these sneakers! This is the 2nd pair he has gotten. He has a wide foot and these fit well and look nice. || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear Cute and comfortable - I tried six pairs of white dress shoes from Zappos and these were my favorite and are true to size and width. || Delman - Diane-Ss (Black Shanghai Silk) - Footwear Not as comfortable as they look. Very cute shoes, good heel height, but if you have a narrow heel like I do, these fabric sling backs will slip. I tried placing Foot Petals Strappy Strips inside but they didn't stick. I happened to looked down after wearing them for a few hours and saw the strips hanging down. Not a good look! They also cut me a bit across the toes. I didn't think that would be an issue at all as they are stretch fabric. Overall, not all that pleased with this purchase. I love this shoe, but not for my feet!!! The straps do rub a little, but the look and feel of the shoe are great.
