The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them! || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear Most comfortable dressy shoes! Amazingly comfortable! Purchased for wedding and have become the only dressy shoes I will wear. Silver heel is understated and crystals do not look gaudy. I am looking at more Helle shoes now because these are so wonderful! || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear These DVS flip flops are pretty comfortable – they wear kind of like rainbows. One negative, the strap where they are attached to the sole is fraying and it appears to be a stitching defect. I should have sent them back, but I just decided not to bother. Overall, I like ‘em. I'd buy another pair...but I would check them out for fraying. || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear Thrilled! I am very difficult to fit - a shade more than 10 1-2 but not 11, and quite narrow. I order about two pairs of shoes for every one I can wear (but am doing the best ever with Zappos). I first ordered this shoe in black, and reordered in white. It's just so perfect and cute and polished - goes with almost anything and "walks" well. || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear Great Driving Shoe - I purchased this shoe for a long driving trip. I have used driving mocs before but I wanted a sporty shoe. I first ordered a size 9. Too tight in the toe box and narrow. Reordered a size 9.5, a little better. Drove 7 hours, never did my foot slide off the pedal. Once again, I started getting pain in the toe box and the shoe felt like it was a visor. I could not wait to get out of the car and put my old Keds on. I did use them to drive back home. All I can say is try them if you like them. It might be my particular problem. || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear A little more stylish than your average Teva sandals... I live in sandals during the summer, but it's hard for me to find designs that are rugged yet feminine enough to be able to wear with skirts and dresses. These are perfect - strappy and lightweight, but can withstand running around on gravel, grass, sand...you name it. I do agree with the reviewers who mention that the foot bed on this is rather flat. I would only avoid buying this style if you require a lot of arch support. || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear Rockport Farren - Typical Rockport Dressport quality. The square toe makes my smaller, high-arched feet look longer and slimmer. Only downside is that for a W width, it's a bit narrower than the round-toed wing-tips I usually by in the Dressport line (e.g. Addington). I'd by one width wider next time. Zappos order processing was (as usual) superb, and lightning fast. || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear Awesome shoe! First props to Zappos for the awesome customer service!!! Shoes are great, very comfortable, felt like exact size, very cool! I already placed an order for another pair in different colors!! || Delman - Mona-SNP (Navy) - Footwear Slippery insole - I bought this shoe for traveling to S. Africa, hoping to have a walking sandal that could withstand hours on the road. However, I have found that the footing is slippery and my foot slides back and forth, making walking unsteady. I would not recommend this sandal for walking, but it is comfortable otherwise and attractive.
