It is comfortable from the start, but not good for walking a lot. I am normally a 7.5. I ordered a 7 and they are too big. I didn't like the color as well. They take a little bit to break-in, but this has been my favorite skate shoe for years with the simple, understated Vans style. || Delman - Sahara-NC (Peach) - Footwear More like house slippers... Much too loose all around - I had to get a full size smaller than usual (I wear an 8 and got a 7) for this to be snug enough so that the heel doesn't slip and chafe as I walk. It's a comfortable shoe for a flat, but I'm not too happy with the styling. It looks adorable as pictured, but it doesn't really flatter the foot. Especially on me, I have rather short legs and thick ankles... these kind of look like boats on my feet! There's no shape to them whatsoever. I think I'll just stick to wearing them around the house and when I'm out in the yard gardening. || Delman - Sahara-NC (Peach) - Footwear Great shoe - Beautiful soft leather, great looking, love the silver heel, not too high. Order one size up for all Onyx shoes. Even good for a wider foot. || Delman - Sahara-NC (Peach) - Footwear Beautiful but painful - The shoes are gorgeous; however, the material of the sandal is really rough and harsh on the toes which after some walking starts create bad sores. || Delman - Sahara-NC (Peach) - Footwear Best Hiker I've Ever Owned - I have wide feet and find most work and walking boots unsatisfactory for working in the mountains where we live. The Hi-Tec has proven to give me stability, traction, and comfort whatever I'm doing. Work or play, in it all day, and it's wonderful. I love it and bought a second pair for when my first pair wears out.
