The only shoe I have ever owned in 3 colors-and still want more. I love the comfort-I didn't use to wear this style because I hated how they felt-not the case with these. They took about a week to break in, esp. around the toe, but they did not rub enough to cause a blister. It is also fairly comfortable too, though I haven't worn them for a whole day yet. I would recommend these. These were not super-comfortable out of the box; they took a couple of wearings to "break in." However, by the 3rd or 4th day...awesome! The gold is a little bright for me but I can live with it. A good fit, much more comfortable than I expected for this heel height, but after awhile my toes start to slide forward and feel a little squashed; possibly "Foot Petals" would help with this. It's true to size and not too long. I like the zipper fly which you don't get with most shorts. I didn't have the problems mentioned by some others. It fits nicely around my bunion and my little toe is well contained in the shoe.
