I've had ankle surgery and find it hard to get shoes that are comfortable. These are the first pair of sandals since my surgery 3 years ago that I can wear all day. Wore them at the beach and couldn't ask for a better shoe. They did rub a small blister because they were wet. Once they dried, not another problem. Great shoe. I love them, they stay on my feet unlike other slide/sandals. I only wear Danskos since my knee surgery and I love them. I am so glad to have found a brand that works for me in so many ways!!! The only thing that I would change is the brown on the black. Black on black would be better. I had to add heel comforts in the back due to the larger size. I got them just before going on a trip to San Francisco. I walked all over in them and my feet never hurt. They look great with jeans, capris and a skirt/ or dress. I have another pair of DJP shoes and these are more comfortable. I will have to look for another style in black too. I love the pewter color though. Compliments all around - but not for the shy and retiring. The lightweight canvas (and colour) make them the perfect spring/summer boots. The youth size I have a feeling is different because all those reviews are bad. 360 flips in this shoe are mad, every big spin feels great.
