My mom has sciatic nerve damage from having two back surgeries, so she has constant pain in her legs and feet. These are the only shoes that have helped ease the pain. She has tried expensive name brand athletic style shoes and she still had to add extra support and they still hurt her feet and legs. She can wear these shoes as they are, without adding extra support, because they are so comfortable for her. These would be perfect for anyone who is on their feet most of the time or those who have problems with their feet, legs, and back... This sandal fits the cute requirement perfectly, but isn't the great walking-around shoe I was hoping for. The footbed seems a bit slippery so my heel wants to slide off occasionally and the hard sole means it is useless if the ground is wet or in any way slippery. I bought it based on the recommendations I read here, and I'm so glad I did. The leather's really soft and comfortable; I wore mine 3 days in a row, when I first got them, with no sore spots and no blisters. Yes, they’re not ultra-sexy shoes, but they look really nice with summer trousers, and I can wear them at work without problems. Well worth the money, and the fast Zappos shipping is always appreciated.
