If you are patient enough to reconfigure the lacing on these, you've won half the battle. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard at adjusting them had I paid attention to the other reviewers who stated that the shoes run VERY LARGE. They do. Definitely order a size down from your usual. The insoles on these are incredible, they really do feel like walking on marshmallows after you have worn them for a few weeks. I get stopped constantly by people wanting to know where I got them. Still, the lacing is a pain and in order for the shoe to fit correctly, you pretty much have to work on it to some degree every time you put your feet in them. If these didn't have a back and were just a slide, it would eliminate that. I have never worn them for water sports, but they are very grippy on pavement, rocks, clutch pedals, you name it. The insole is great, they are a unique-looking shoe, but overall pricey for what they are. || Diadora - Genoa TF (Black/White/Red) - Footwear Sexy, comfortable, and perfect for summer fashion - When I put this dress on, it fit perfectly! No more high heels for me and I don't want to wear granny shoes! These are really stylish. I got them in the gold. They fit perfectly and they are great on my foot. I wish that they had more arch support, but I will just have to wear them in a little bit and deal with it. They are great with capris or skirts, sunny and fun to wear. But for some reason, the last pair completely tore up my feet. So I limped into the running store and after trying on many pairs, I swear the heavens opened and the angels started singing when I put the Brooks Dyads on my feet. It was like bouncing around on a cloud. I have a high arch and am a slight under-pronator, so I put in a pair of the green SuperFeet orthotics. I have noticed since switching to these shoes that my run is more stable, and I can actually last a lot longer on the road. || Diadora - Genoa TF (Black/White/Red) - Footwear Very Disappointing - I think Bass shoes have gone down in quality. These shoes lasted two months before the leather pulled away from the sole; in addition, the rubber on the heel peeled away within a couple of weeks. Too bad.
