They are the true workhorse in my shoe wardrobe. I bought them to take to Italy last August for a BackRoads cycling tour of Tuscany. They were the perfect "stylish" walking shoe and provided wonderful support. Please do not take them out of the lineup - ever! || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear I really want to like these but... I’m still not sure they’re worth the money. (Zappos has the lowest price though. I love Zappos!) Pluses: Does seem to work butt and core a little more than regular shoes. Very comfortable. Also looks groovy with workout attire. And the added height is nice. Minuses: Isn’t helping my plantar fasciitis. Can be slippery since your outsole is never completely flat on the ground. Not great for standing in place without leaning against anything, since you rock back and forth like a tipsy person. Tips for sizing: I wear a 7W and bought a 7.5M so my toes wouldn’t come too close to the front edge when foot rolls forward. Make sure you adjust the straps so your heel is as far back as possible, so you can really get the full rolling effect. || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear Great summer shoe - At first these shoes felt a little uncomfortable, but after wearing them a couple times they feel food on my feet! || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear Comfortable - These sandals are very comfortable and attractive. From first putting them on to taking them off. The insoles are extremely soft and supportive. || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear I will have to agree with the previous customer. I love the look of these shoes, but since they are so high, my foot slides down and squishes my toes. They are 4 inches, not 3.5. The criss-cross hurt my toes. Still deciding if I want to send them back. || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear Fabulous, but watch the size - These are fantastic, but way smaller then expected. If you wear a Euro 39, you should buy their 40, which translates into a 10! Other than that, I highly, highly recommend them! || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear Great update! Slightly modified from the original... The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. Now there is no heel bruising, too! || Diadora - Maximus ID (Blue Pearlized/Chrome) - Footwear More uncomfortable than it looks - I wore these shoes last night and they really hurt my feet. They did not fit the way my other Sesto Meucci slip-ons fit.
