Ok, well I can only give the name of this shoe 1 star for originality; however, this pair gets the full 5 Stars for comfort, looks, and durability. I'm rough on walking shoes. Here in NYC we walk- a lot. These were purchased primarily for transportation but I’ve been wearing them everywhere because they're just fun and so easy to slip into. Would have loved them in white with brown soles; just like an old school summer favorite from my childhood. Look great with casual as well work clothes. Good pick. I was looking for a sandal that could show off my toes and be cool for summer but that would also allow me to wear my orthotics and not look clunky. This was it. I did have to break them in – or break my foot in – until the thong between the toes became comfortable. But with wearing them a bit longer each day in the house, by the time I was ready to go to work with them, they were comfortable and very elegant. || ECCO - Calcutta Ankle Strap (Cherry Red) - Footwear Adorable!! And versatile... My 14 month old daughter loves these! She can walk easily in them since the front curves up and she likes to look at the lady bug face on the front. First off, these shoes are great, but if you have slightly wide feet, they get weird. I’ve had the TNT IIs in low and mid and if you have them for a long time or you wear them a lot, the outer side of the shoe kinda folds in when the rubber is all worn down and it makes your feet look all weird. They are great to skate, but don’t plan to have them for more than 2 months if you don’t have super narrow feet. || ECCO - Calcutta Ankle Strap (Cherry Red) - Footwear Cute does not mean comfortable - These sandals look great, but gave me terrible blisters on the top of my foot where the rope rubs. I addition, the striped fabric around the heel and the Sperry label are even more sources of irritation. These are beautiful peep toes but I find the soles of them a little stiff and difficult to break in. I would not recommend them. || ECCO - Calcutta Ankle Strap (Cherry Red) - Footwear Good sandal... These shoes are easy to put on, easy to take off, and seem to provide good arch support, which is rare in a sandal. My only issue is that the closures are a bit larger than necessary. The sandals still fit, but the sides don't match up exactly. In spite of that, the shoes stay on well and provide good protection for a sandal.
