Haven't worn again - am sure I can soften up the toe hold, but the cramp issue may come back. The footbed is very comfortable and the straps secure... as to be expected with Born shoes. It fits perfectly, but the bottom is a little low and loose in the front. In the top in the back there are 2 hard things, 1 on each side. The toddler grandson with the extra-wide feet loves his sandals! The velcro straps make adjustments a breeze and the shoe is great for either casual or baby boy dress fashions. I wear a narrow shoe, ordered a narrow, and this shoe is WAY too wide; my toes slide right off the end of the toe box.
