Slightly modified from the original... The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. It fits perfectly, but the bottom is a little low and loose in the front. In the top in the back there are 2 hard things, 1 on each side. These shoes are cute and comfy. They took about a week to break in, esp. around the toe, but they did not rub enough to cause a blister. These are much better shoes in the midsole than past Asics. Not so stiff. More flexible yet still great cushion. All of her shoes are great, but I get heads turning with these. The leather's really soft and comfortable; I wore mine 3 days in a row, when I first got them, with no sore spots and no blisters. Yes, they’re not ultra-sexy shoes, but they look really nice with summer trousers, and I can wear them at work without problems. Well worth the money, and the fast Zappos shipping is always appreciated.
