I saw a Zappos ad in my In Style magazine and thought I'd take a look online. I found these after searching through the heels and fell in love with them. I was a little anxious about ordering online, but they arrived a week later (I live in Canada, so it makes sense) and I loved them as soon as I saw them. They're very well made, and the detailing is gorgeous. They have a very retro look. They are also quite comfortable. This is only the second time I've worn them but they already feel broken in. There's no rubbing at all and I think I could wear them all day. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and I got the 8 and they fit perfectly. My toes just touch the front and there's just a little room in the heel. I was also concerned that they would be uncomfortable to walk in because they don't flex or bend, but they're surprisingly easy to walk in. I love them! I have never got more compliments! I'm still getting used to the straps (adjustment and fit) just like I did on my Chacos similar to these. I purchased the dark orange color. Beautiful! I love the look of these shoes, but since they are so high, my foot slides down and squishes my toes. They are 4 inches, not 3.5. The criss-cross hurt my toes. It has a few nice pockets both inside and out that are handy. It's a little bigger than I really wanted and easy to fill up with too much stuff. The color is fantastic...a burnished gold/bronze and very soft supple leather that feels great immediately. Not much to the shoe but really something to look at and just perfect for shorts/skirts as a nicer alternative to flip-flops or with summer sundresses or could even dress up for dinner out in the heat wave we're having. Pricey but seem well made with good materials. Just love em.
