Super comfortable, very cushy soles. I don't find the rubber toe separator uncomfortable at all, but I am also a seasoned flip-flop wearer. My big problem with these sandals, however, is that THE GLITTER ALL RUBBED OFF! I bought them a year ago, wore them like crazy last summer, but all the glitter rubbed off during that time. I didn't do anything unusual to them, like wear them in water or wash them. My friend suggested putting clear nail polish or hairspray over the glitter next time, so I will try that. || Ecco Kids - Heatwave Malibu (Toddler/Youth) (Marine/Black Nubuck) - Footwear First of all, these shoes look a lot cleaner in person. I usually go through a pair of shoes in about 3-4 weeks, these lasted me about 2 months. I just returned from vacationing in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales and never gave a thought to my feet because of the extreme comfort of this shoe. I like its light weight and foot support and would definitely recommend it to others. I have back problems and this shoe provided more relief than I have ever experienced in a walking shoe. They take a little bit to break-in, but this has been my favorite skate shoe for years with the simple, understated Vans style. || Ecco Kids - Heatwave Malibu (Toddler/Youth) (Marine/Black Nubuck) - Footwear Fabulous, but watch the size - These are fantastic, but way smaller then expected. If you wear a Euro 39, you should buy their 40, which translates into a 10! But for some reason, the last pair completely tore up my feet. So I limped into the running store and after trying on many pairs, I swear the heavens opened and the angels started singing when I put the Brooks Dyads on my feet. It was like bouncing around on a cloud. I have a high arch and am a slight under-pronator, so I put in a pair of the green SuperFeet orthotics. I have noticed since switching to these shoes that my run is more stable, and I can actually last a lot longer on the road. || Ecco Kids - Heatwave Malibu (Toddler/Youth) (Marine/Black Nubuck) - Footwear Not as comfortable as they look. Very cute shoes, good heel height, but if you have a narrow heel like I do, these fabric sling backs will slip. I tried placing Foot Petals Strappy Strips inside but they didn't stick. I happened to looked down after wearing them for a few hours and saw the strips hanging down. Not a good look! They also cut me a bit across the toes. I didn't think that would be an issue at all as they are stretch fabric. Overall, not all that pleased with this purchase. However, I do get compliments on them and I guess that counts for something. || Ecco Kids - Heatwave Malibu (Toddler/Youth) (Marine/Black Nubuck) - Footwear Chaco comfort - I like the shoe very much, however, am finding it hard to "break it in" in terms of getting the webbing to stay loose enough around the toe. I am constantly adjusting it. I even went swimming in them in hopes that thoroughly wetting them would help (I think it did somewhat). They do provide great sole support and help prevent slipping on rocks.
