There is not as much of a cushioning feel as I wish there was (it's more stiff). I tried this in 7.5 WW first because I'd been ordering shoes in W. Finding them too tight (normally I get a 7.5 W), I had to return this and as it seemed a little long... I'm 5'4" and felt that it was a little too long for me, but the photo shows an accurate depiction of the length, so I think I just didn't factor how it would look on me. The fabric is pretty thick and of a good quality, but I'm in Vegas and would prefer something more lightweight. After reading reviews that this shoe runs a full size smaller than marked, I ordered a 7 when I typically wear an 8. At first the 7s felt great, but then I walked the dog around the block and came home carrying my shoes rather than wearing them. Ouch! I had blisters for days. I love the look of the shoe so much, though, that I exchanged them for a 7.5. What a difference! They look great, feel like slippers, and no more blisters. They are always comfortable, durable, and look great. I ordered the Ditto in gold. The gold thread is subtle, making the shoe a great neutral color. They were just what I was looking for in a wedge shoe. I wore them while walking all over Munich. They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. These shoes are definitely adorable and look great on, but they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned.
