I wear a size 11 and most athletic style shoes make my feet look even bigger. I think that's because many shoe manufacturers think a large-sized women's fit is the same shape as a man's foot, but that is definitely not the case: The proportions are totally different. J-41 seems to know the difference. In these shoes, my look almost dainty and feel as if they are being gently cradled. I also have room to wiggle my toes, but my feet do not slip dangerously side to side the way they do in Keens and the like. || Ecco Kids - Heatwave Yucatan (Youth) (Safari/Apple/Black) - Footwear I bought these in the pearlescent ivory color. She has worn only Crocs since she was 1 1/2 years old and she was excited to add a new style to her collection. They stay on her feet much better than sandals/flip flops yet they give her the feel of a sandal since the toe is open. It is a bit tight around the toes, but it makes it feel more secure on your foot. It does loosen a bit as you wear it. Very cute shoes, good heel height, but if you have a narrow heel like I do, these fabric sling backs will slip. I tried placing Foot Petals Strappy Strips inside but they didn't stick. I happened to looked down after wearing them for a few hours and saw the strips hanging down. Not a good look! They also cut me a bit across the toes. I didn't think that would be an issue at all as they are stretch fabric. Overall, not all that pleased with this purchase. However, I do get compliments on them and I guess that counts for something. || Ecco Kids - Heatwave Yucatan (Youth) (Safari/Apple/Black) - Footwear Keens Catalina sandal - This shoe is very comfortable, good arch support. I would have preferred it in a black webbing vs. the bright colors available. Once the velcro straps were in place, I can now just insert my foot in the shoes and take off. I did find the toe pads inside the foot of the right sandal sticky at first but this has since disappeared. I will try the Keen brand again based on this shoe.
