They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. The shoes, though, are very versatile and dress up and down easily. My daughter found them to be very comfortable. I ordered a medium width and it was sufficient for my daughter's wide toe area. She wore them all day at a wedding and danced the whole time. No blisters or sore places on her feet. Of course, the delivery of the shoes was timely. The Hipthong is a great casual flip flop although in no way should they be confused with regular, no-support flip flops. I also have the ZX/2 Unaweep sandal AND the new Canyonland Low shoe. The Chaco Bio-Centric footbed can't be beat for comfort and support. I bought these in the Tamarind color and they're so cute that complete strangers have asked me where I got my shoes. The gel in the footbed is great. The leather straps are soft and pliable, so it doesn't dig in to your skin. I looked and looked for a GOLD sling that was not too high and would still be good looking. This definitely fit the bill. The zippered opening for the yoga mat can be a bit difficult to use, maybe it's better for slimmer yoga mats? It does work with my yoga mat though. The photo of the bag was different when I ordered it, so I was surprised by how big it is, but I'm glad it's a good-sized bag (holds all my gym stuff!) The strap is very long and hits me about where it hits on the mannequin, but that's fine with me. And I love the color; I have the bossa nova/potting soil color.
