It is a bit tight around the toes, but it makes it feel more secure on your foot. It does loosen a bit as you wear it. I ordered these hiking shoes right before a week in the Smokys, so they came out of the box and went immediately on the trail. They were absolutely the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever worn. It rained some while we were on the trail and the shoes had great traction, even on slippery, wet rocks. I also ordered these same shoes for my daughters in the youth sizes. Their shoes performed equally well in the mountains. In fact, they prefer them to their tennis shoes at home. There's no denying that the price tag is a little head-spinning, but the fit of these shoes is so divine and they are so seasonless, that I know I'll wear them often and for years. I can truly imagine trekking all over a city in these; they are that comfortable. And the metallic gunmetal is incredibly liquid and eye-catching; literally, I have never worn these shoes without receiving multiple compliments. I recommend them whole-heartedly! || Fila Performance - Flow Providence III (White/Orange Popsicle/Peacoat) - Footwear Strappy summery and versatile - Was looking for a strappy metallic sandal...What a beautiful and versatile shoe. The color is fantastic...a burnished gold/bronze and very soft supple leather that feels great immediately. Not much to the shoe but really something to look at and just perfect for shorts/skirts as a nicer alternative to flip-flops or with summer sundresses or could even dress up for dinner out in the heat wave we're having. Pricey but seem well made with good materials. Just love em.
