It fits perfectly, but the bottom is a little low and loose in the front. In the top in the back there are 2 hard things, 1 on each side. This shoe is wonderful. I have bought the shoe in two different colors and get comments on both the red and the green. I would say the Cole Haan shoe overall is true to size. This shoe is no exception. I got mine a year and a half ago and they are still going strong (got the green ones but that isn't enough - I want the black ones as well). If you like Puma, you will love these. The shoe size that I have now are a little bit too small (10, my fault), but its leather has adapted itself to my foot size - I may notice that they are too small after a day of use. I live in one of the most rainy cities that I know of. Still these keep my feet dry. They don't provide much of ventilation, but that has never been a problem either. Recommended? Yes. Don't hesitate buying these if you like their looks. The shoe fit is perfect and I would recommend this shoe to anyone with a baby. I got used to that after a few wears. These are probably the best board shorts I've bought. It's true to size and not too long. I like the zipper fly which you don't get with most shorts. The shoes are surprisingly durable also. I got caught in a flood and walked through water with them on and they did not fade, crack, or warp at all. I just bought a second pair.
