The foot is centered at heelstrike and released to transition smoothly through the gait cycle. The Dynamic Landing System ensures a smooth landing with every footstrike by replicating the engineering feat of the landing gear of an airplane. I'm heavy set and these things are amazingly comfortable. 4-8 hours of comfortable wear. Rarely do I get any sort of heel that's reasonably cute and comfortable. These shoes go with dress pants, suits, skirts, dresses, everything. Ok, well I can only give the name of this shoe 1 star for originality; however, this pair gets the full 5 Stars for comfort, looks, and durability. I'm rough on walking shoes. Here in NYC we walk- a lot. These were purchased primarily for transportation but I’ve been wearing them everywhere because they're just fun and so easy to slip into. Would have loved them in white with brown soles; just like an old school summer favorite from my childhood. Look great with casual as well work clothes. Good pick. I'm haaaaaaaaappy! || Fila Performance - Flow Veloce II (White/Wild Dove/Fiery Red) - Footwear Squishy shoe after only a couple weeks - Very comfortable shoe. Love the fit. Only bad thing is that both shoes have started "squishing" on every step. Apparently the air bladders inside shoes have ruptured or something. Very annoying while walking around. This is the second pair of Nike shoes that have done this. The shoe fit is perfect and I would recommend this shoe to anyone with a baby. I live in sandals during the summer, but it's hard for me to find designs that are rugged yet feminine enough to be able to wear with skirts and dresses. These are perfect - strappy and lightweight, but can withstand running around on gravel, grass, sand...you name it. I do agree with the reviewers who mention that the foot bed on this is rather flat. I would only avoid buying this style if you require a lot of arch support. || Fila Performance - Flow Veloce II (White/Wild Dove/Fiery Red) - Footwear My feet are rejoicing - For years, I bought nothing but Adidas Supernova Trail shoes. But for some reason, the last pair completely tore up my feet. So I limped into the running store and after trying on many pairs, I swear the heavens opened and the angels started singing when I put the Brooks Dyads on my feet. It was like bouncing around on a cloud. I have a high arch and am a slight under-pronator, so I put in a pair of the green SuperFeet orthotics. I have noticed since switching to these shoes that my run is more stable, and I can actually last a lot longer on the road. || Fila Performance - Flow Veloce II (White/Wild Dove/Fiery Red) - Footwear One of the most comfortable shoes I own. Very good for running or just walking around. I wish it came in more colors. || Fila Performance - Flow Veloce II (White/Wild Dove/Fiery Red) - Footwear Comfortable for a little while - Comfortable at first - like the style - then tried to wear them all day for some serious walking around town... got arch cramps and a huge blister between my toes. Haven't worn again - am sure I can soften up the toe hold, but the cramp issue may come back. The footbed is very comfortable and the straps secure... as to be expected with Born shoes. Slightly challenging to put on and buckle while standing.
