Helle is the only brand of shoes I have worn for years because this is the only brand that combines beauty and true foot health/comfort. My feet hurt terribly in all other dress/work shoes because I have flat feet and other foot challenges (probably from wearing women’s shoes all my life). Helle makes it a point to build in a REAL arch support. And of all the current Helle styles, this one is my absolute favorite. It is so cute and SO, SO, SO comfortable. I was searching for this particular Helle style when I discovered Zappos. I was surprised and thrilled to actually find these shoes - and then after I ordered them, I was delighted to discover that Zappos has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am in shoe heaven!!! Thank you Zappos! || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear LOVE THIS SHOE! This shoe is so simple and elegant. Looks great to dress things up (jeans, skirts, shorts, whatever). It is very flat (no foot support at all), but still comfortable. I don't know how long they will last since I want to wear them everyday. || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear What great colors! I'm still getting used to the straps (adjustment and fit) just like I did on my Chacos similar to these. I purchased the dark orange color. Beautiful! I have several pairs of Keens and these do not disappoint. They are very comfortable! || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear Wonder look & wear - This shoe looks fantastic. It is also fairly comfortable too, though I haven't worn them for a whole day yet. I would recommend these. They look great dressed up or with jeans! || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear Robeez's T-Strap - The baby did not like the elastic around her heel. It may have been a little snug for her foot. But otherwise, they are cute and well made. || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear On the fence about the Florin, but leaning towards returning them. I bought a black pair to wear with dark-colored summer dresses, but I think they are too "heavy" a style, if that makes any sense. Too casual to be dressy, but a bit too awkward for jeans. These run small for Born sizes (or big? not sure if I have my direction right -- whichever way means that my feet usually drown in Born shoes, but these were actually smaller than I expected). I usually wear a 7.5. The Florin size 7/38 basically fits, but is a fraction of a centimeter too short. As there are no half sizes, the next size up is far too large. Comfort-wise, the slope is pretty steep. This is great in the sense that it makes the foot look smaller, but the toe part of the foot bed isn't as cushioned as the heel. I've only worn them up and down my carpet, but I'm not convinced they would be comfortable all day. || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear Great update! Slightly modified from the original... The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. Now there is no heel bruising, too! || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear Not as comfortable as they look. Very cute shoes, good heel height, but if you have a narrow heel like I do, these fabric sling backs will slip. I tried placing Foot Petals Strappy Strips inside but they didn't stick. I happened to looked down after wearing them for a few hours and saw the strips hanging down. Not a good look! They also cut me a bit across the toes. I didn't think that would be an issue at all as they are stretch fabric. Overall, not all that pleased with this purchase. However, I do get compliments on them and I guess that counts for something. || Globe - Castro (Black/Denim) - Footwear Comfort and a great look! I received these shoes about 3 weeks ago and can't stop wearing them. They look great from jeans to casual looks. Comfort, great fit and look! These have a great base to them, so provide support in a 'today' fashionable look. I ordered a size 7, knowing that I might need to return them for a 7 1/2, but didn't need to - they fit perfect.
