Super comfortable, very cushy soles. I don't find the rubber toe separator uncomfortable at all, but I am also a seasoned flip-flop wearer. My big problem with these sandals, however, is that THE GLITTER ALL RUBBED OFF! I bought them a year ago, wore them like crazy last summer, but all the glitter rubbed off during that time. I didn't do anything unusual to them, like wear them in water or wash them. My friend suggested putting clear nail polish or hairspray over the glitter next time, so I will try that. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear Fabulous feel, old fashioned look - At first I couldn't believe how comfortable these shoes are. I'm heavy set and these things are amazingly comfortable. 4-8 hours of comfortable wear. Rarely do I get any sort of heel that's reasonably cute and comfortable. These shoes go with dress pants, suits, skirts, dresses, everything. I feel that these are awesome. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear Pretty shoe - Shoe looks very nice. I ordered a wide and I needed it in the toe box area, but the strap slips just a bit. Still a good value. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear This is a great shoe. It is a bit tight around the toes, but it makes it feel more secure on your foot. It does loosen a bit as you wear it. Great shoe. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear I will have to agree with the previous customer. I love the look of these shoes, but since they are so high, my foot slides down and squishes my toes. They are 4 inches, not 3.5. The criss-cross hurt my toes. Still deciding if I want to send them back. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear Cool shoes... but not durable at all - I had these shoes for about a month and then they started to fall apart. The black material around the white streak in the shoe just started to come apart and then the shoe looked bad. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear Great shoe, good support. Shoe fit true to size. Offers great support, even on beach walking. I have no issues with discomfort whatsoever. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear A great sandal to capture the gladiator trend - Really soft supple leather makes for a comfy sandal that feels good first wear and capitalizes on the trend. No arch support so I was a bit heavier on my feet in this one and ultimately the need to fasten two buckles made this one not for me. (Though I did realize only needed to adjust the top one to get in and out of the sandal.) Cute on the foot too, but definitely accentuated my foot which I decided wasn't my goal for this one. Good for casual day due to the heel. || Globe - Castro (Black/Grey Plaid) - Footwear I wish this shoe came in more colors! I've been wearing Tsubos for years, but had never seen any that were less sneaker-like than the ones they became known for. The Lavinia's fabulous--it's a cute, simple shoe that's comfortable that I bought it in the other two colors Zappos carries. I replaced the insole with my custom orthotics, which fit perfectly, and wore them all day with no problems whatsoever. I wear them with skirts and jeans, and even got a compliment from a friend who's a high-end designer shoe snob. They seem to run a little narrow, so I don't know that they'd work for wider feet. But they're perfect for me--these are my new favorite shoes!
