I wear a size 11 and most athletic style shoes make my feet look even bigger. I think that's because many shoe manufacturers think a large-sized women's fit is the same shape as a man's foot, but that is definitely not the case: The proportions are totally different. J-41 seems to know the difference. In these shoes, my look almost dainty and feel as if they are being gently cradled. I also have room to wiggle my toes, but my feet do not slip dangerously side to side the way they do in Keens and the like. || Globe - Castro (Black/Pinwale) - Footwear Pleasantly surprised! Ordered these late Friday...had them Monday! I was looking for a light weight mesh sneaker that would hold my orthotics and these are just perfect. Had several foot surgeries and my foot still swells after prolonged standing. The toe box has plenty of room both side to side and up and down. The mesh seems to have more give. I purchased these in wide and a half size larger. || Globe - Castro (Black/Pinwale) - Footwear Cute and comfy! These shoes are cute and comfy. They took about a week to break in, esp. around the toe, but they did not rub enough to cause a blister. Now I can wear them every day they are so comfy. || Globe - Castro (Black/Pinwale) - Footwear The shoes look great. The only thing that I would change is the brown on the black. Black on black would be better. I had to add heel comforts in the back due to the larger size. I have bought the shoe in two different colors and get comments on both the red and the green. I would say the Cole Haan shoe overall is true to size. This shoe is no exception. If you wear a Euro 39, you should buy their 40, which translates into a 10! I have a narrow foot but can sometimes wear a medium if I go down a half size. This shoe is okay but I wouldn't wear it if I planned on any extensive walking as there isn't much arch support. || Globe - Castro (Black/Pinwale) - Footwear Favorite Walking Shoe - This is the 1st shoe to make me shelve every sneaker I own. They are the true workhorse in my shoe wardrobe. I bought them to take to Italy last August for a BackRoads cycling tour of Tuscany. They were the perfect "stylish" walking shoe and provided wonderful support. Please do not take them out of the lineup - ever! || Globe - Castro (Black/Pinwale) - Footwear Cute and comfy - This shoe is very cute and the sole is very comfortable. The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them!
