I wear a size 11 and most athletic style shoes make my feet look even bigger. I think that's because many shoe manufacturers think a large-sized women's fit is the same shape as a man's foot, but that is definitely not the case: The proportions are totally different. J-41 seems to know the difference. In these shoes, my look almost dainty and feel as if they are being gently cradled. I also have room to wiggle my toes, but my feet do not slip dangerously side to side the way they do in Keens and the like. || Globe - Castro (Earth/Khaki Tweed) - Footwear Well worth the price - I have always bought cheap flip-flops, but when I saw these, I had to have them! I ordered them for regular shipping, but Zappos sent them in two days! After wearing these flip-flops, I will never buy any other brand. Very comfortable and give really good support. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes support the arch very well. || Globe - Castro (Earth/Khaki Tweed) - Footwear Pretty but Narrow - I really like the look of these summer, kinda' dressy shoes but I wore them once and wish I could send them back. They didn't "yield" very much, since they're basically plastic, and they cut into my toes the first and only time I wore them. He has a wide foot and these fit well and look nice. || Globe - Castro (Earth/Khaki Tweed) - Footwear My feet are rejoicing - For years, I bought nothing but Adidas Supernova Trail shoes. But for some reason, the last pair completely tore up my feet. So I limped into the running store and after trying on many pairs, I swear the heavens opened and the angels started singing when I put the Brooks Dyads on my feet. It was like bouncing around on a cloud. I have a high arch and am a slight under-pronator, so I put in a pair of the green SuperFeet orthotics. I have noticed since switching to these shoes that my run is more stable, and I can actually last a lot longer on the road. || Globe - Castro (Earth/Khaki Tweed) - Footwear These shoes are absolutely beautiful, but so uncomfortable. The shoe is really narrow and the lower straps at the top of the shoe really dig into your foot. They also don't look nearly as nice on my feet as they do straight out of the box.
