The overlap is enough that you don't have to worry about a little wind revealing too much, as with most wrap skirts. The material is kind of like swimsuit material, but thicker and very soft. They did not fit the way my other Sesto Meucci slip-ons fit. Haven't worn again - am sure I can soften up the toe hold, but the cramp issue may come back. The footbed is very comfortable and the straps secure... as to be expected with Born shoes. Slightly challenging to put on and buckle while standing.
