If you are patient enough to reconfigure the lacing on these, you've won half the battle. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard at adjusting them had I paid attention to the other reviewers who stated that the shoes run VERY LARGE. They do. Definitely order a size down from your usual. The insoles on these are incredible, they really do feel like walking on marshmallows after you have worn them for a few weeks. I get stopped constantly by people wanting to know where I got them. Still, the lacing is a pain and in order for the shoe to fit correctly, you pretty much have to work on it to some degree every time you put your feet in them. If these didn't have a back and were just a slide, it would eliminate that. I have never worn them for water sports, but they are very grippy on pavement, rocks, clutch pedals, you name it. The insole is great, they are a unique-looking shoe, but overall pricey for what they are. || Globe - Castro Slide (Khaki/Mesh) - Footwear Sexy, comfortable, and perfect for summer fashion - When I put this dress on, it fit perfectly! They are fabulous! My legs or feet never were sore! Great arch support. I would definitely order these again. || Globe - Castro Slide (Khaki/Mesh) - Footwear I bought these shoes for a trip involving a lot of walking and a lot of beaches (love Door County, WI). These shoes were great! My toes did rub just a little bit in the front, but there was absolutely no break-in period and these stayed on my feet. It's amazing how just adjusting the drawstring will change how this shoe feels on your foot. I plan on using these for kayaking and am really excited. They don't have heel coverage, which worried me, but like I said, they stay on your feet and I feel that my heel will be protected. Well worth the investment. || Globe - Castro Slide (Khaki/Mesh) - Footwear Pretty but Narrow - I really like the look of these summer, kinda' dressy shoes but I wore them once and wish I could send them back. They didn't "yield" very much, since they're basically plastic, and they cut into my toes the first and only time I wore them. Maybe I'll give them away. || Globe - Castro Slide (Khaki/Mesh) - Footwear Cool shoes... but not durable at all - I had these shoes for about a month and then they started to fall apart. I have them in yellow. I am normally a 7.5. I ordered a 7 and they are too big. I didn't like the color as well. They are listed as "Pearl", but look more like grey.
