They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. I have just spent a small fortune on Mephisto sandals...let me tell you the SOFTWALK MEDINA has so much more support. Comfort for walking long distances and the style is great. I returned my Mephistos and will be ordering ONLY Softwalk from now on. || Globe - Castro W (Antique/Green Flamingo) - Footwear Cute, comfortable shoe - While this shoe runs a little wide, it is worth it because it's very comfortable and stylish. And good for the environment. || Globe - Castro W (Antique/Green Flamingo) - Footwear Great Driving Shoe - I purchased this shoe for a long driving trip. I have used driving mocs before but I wanted a sporty shoe. I first ordered a size 9. Too tight in the toe box and narrow. Reordered a size 9.5, a little better. Drove 7 hours, never did my foot slide off the pedal. Once again, I started getting pain in the toe box and the shoe felt like it was a visor. I could not wait to get out of the car and put my old Keds on. I did use them to drive back home. All I can say is try them if you like them. It might be my particular problem. || Globe - Castro W (Antique/Green Flamingo) - Footwear More like house slippers... Much too loose all around - I had to get a full size smaller than usual (I wear an 8 and got a 7) for this to be snug enough so that the heel doesn't slip and chafe as I walk. It's a comfortable shoe for a flat, but I'm not too happy with the styling. It looks adorable as pictured, but it doesn't really flatter the foot. Especially on me, I have rather short legs and thick ankles... these kind of look like boats on my feet! There's no shape to them whatsoever. I think I'll just stick to wearing them around the house and when I'm out in the yard gardening. || Globe - Castro W (Antique/Green Flamingo) - Footwear Great shoe, good support. Shoe fit true to size. Offers great support, even on beach walking. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be when it came but I put folders in it and it appears to be regular size.
