They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. I saw a Zappos ad in my In Style magazine and thought I'd take a look online. I found these after searching through the heels and fell in love with them. I was a little anxious about ordering online, but they arrived a week later (I live in Canada, so it makes sense) and I loved them as soon as I saw them. They're very well made, and the detailing is gorgeous. They have a very retro look. They are also quite comfortable. This is only the second time I've worn them but they already feel broken in. There's no rubbing at all and I think I could wear them all day. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and I got the 8 and they fit perfectly. My toes just touch the front and there's just a little room in the heel. I was also concerned that they would be uncomfortable to walk in because they don't flex or bend, but they're surprisingly easy to walk in. I love them! I have never got more compliments! They are extremely comfortable and light weight, which is amazing considering I'm on my feet up to 16 hours/day. Got these in yellow - it's a bright canary yellow just like the photo… and they are fabulous! Compliments all around - but not for the shy and retiring. The lightweight canvas (and colour) make them the perfect spring/summer boots.
