That pretty much sums it up. These are expensive for a reason. They are very well made, have a great look, a comfortable footbed, and a sturdy sole. However... they cut my heels open every time. I wish I could get used to them as I've heard you're supposed to, but they are just painful. Very disappointing. I marked "half size larger" because I bought an 8.5 and have since been wearing a 9 and they still feel like they fit. || Jean Paul Gaultier - GA1001CC0N G04 (100-Bianco) - Footwear Female's Opinion - Much better than Rainbows – I have very wide, duck feet. So when shopping for flip-flops, I nearly always head for the men's section. These flip-flops are simply superb! I normally wear a 7.5-8 in Women's sizes and I bought these in a Men's 8. They fit the bed of my foot perfectly, the arch support is fantastic. I bought these to replace my Rainbows (which hurt my feet after an hours wear) and they're a huge improvement. My only gripe is the thick strap hurts whenever I move forwards. I think the straps are designed to be more "pushed back" than I'm used to. I'm trying to speed in the break-in period by wetting the underside of the strap, which makes a huge difference comfort wise. Great shoe! I can see these lasting me a long time. I wish I would have taken the time to wearing them around the house a little before I wore them out. It is comfortable except when it begins to slip. || Jean Paul Gaultier - GA1001CC0N G04 (100-Bianco) - Footwear Great looks - bad fit - These shoes are so good looking and if they fit you properly, you are lucky. My problem was the toe box. I ordered up a 1/2 size and the shoe started flopping off. I'm mailing back the 1/2 size and keeping the original shoe I ordered. I'm hoping they will stretch. They have an excellent heel and can even be worn to work. I was thinking about those rainy days. Pumas and I have some problems with fit. I've had ankle surgery and find it hard to get shoes that are comfortable. These are the first pair of sandals since my surgery 3 years ago that I can wear all day. Wore them at the beach and couldn't ask for a better shoe. They did rub a small blister because they were wet. Once they dried, not another problem. Great shoe.
