Yea sure it was a great shoe until I started wearing it. The hemp bamboo thing did not work out. I wore them cave exploring (in water), white water rafting, zip-lining, rappelling, horse back riding, and trekking through the jungle. The Clarks Bethany sandal is very comfortable, cushioned, and attractive - I've received many compliments on this item. It looks great with capris, pants, skirts. Fortunately mine have not completely broken yet. But I wore them only a couple of times before the surface of the foot bed under my big toe started peeling off. Definitely NOT worth the price.
