A good fit, much more comfortable than I expected for this heel height, but after awhile my toes start to slide forward and feel a little squashed; possibly "Foot Petals" would help with this. Ok, well I can only give the name of this shoe 1 star for originality; however, this pair gets the full 5 Stars for comfort, looks, and durability. I'm rough on walking shoes. Here in NYC we walk- a lot. These were purchased primarily for transportation but I’ve been wearing them everywhere because they're just fun and so easy to slip into. Would have loved them in white with brown soles; just like an old school summer favorite from my childhood. Look great with casual as well work clothes. Good pick. I'm haaaaaaaaappy! || Justin - L4956 (Coffee/Black) - Footwear Adorable and fun - These shoes are as charming as they look online! I ordered the yellow to go with a 50s inspired navy dress for a wedding. They look so adorable, but not campy. They seem to run a smidge small and a bit wide. I ordered an 8, but decided to keep because the 8.5 would probably be far too roomy as I have slightly narrow feet. The rubber sole is great...very comfortable. || Justin - L4956 (Coffee/Black) - Footwear I found these shoes extremely comfortable from the first wearing - no “break-in time” needed. I have been recommending them to everyone I meet. I was worried about buying online, but the free shipping made that easier to do. || Justin - L4956 (Coffee/Black) - Footwear The shoe itself was okay except for one feature: the tongue. The tongue is so long and overly padded that you cannot cinch the laces down tight over it. This means you are constantly retying and adjusting it, and cinching it down super tight which ends up hurting your foot. If North Face fixed the tongue, it would be a great shoe, but the current tongue is a huge problem and makes the shoe extremely uncomfortable. || Justin - L4956 (Coffee/Black) - Footwear My feet are rejoicing - For years, I bought nothing but Adidas Supernova Trail shoes. But for some reason, the last pair completely tore up my feet. So I limped into the running store and after trying on many pairs, I swear the heavens opened and the angels started singing when I put the Brooks Dyads on my feet. It was like bouncing around on a cloud. I have a high arch and am a slight under-pronator, so I put in a pair of the green SuperFeet orthotics. I have noticed since switching to these shoes that my run is more stable, and I can actually last a lot longer on the road. || Justin - L4956 (Coffee/Black) - Footwear These are SOOO cute - I fell in love with these shoes at a shop in Juneau, Alaska but they didn't have my size, so ordered from Zappos. I have them in yellow. Nice low heel, soft and comfortable, perhaps a little low cut across the toes for me. || Justin - L4956 (Coffee/Black) - Footwear Good sandal... These shoes are easy to put on, easy to take off, and seem to provide good arch support, which is rare in a sandal. My only issue is that the closures are a bit larger than necessary. The sandals still fit, but the sides don't match up exactly. In spite of that, the shoes stay on well and provide good protection for a sandal.
