Here in NYC we walk- a lot. These were purchased primarily for transportation but I’ve been wearing them everywhere because they're just fun and so easy to slip into. Would have loved them in white with brown soles; just like an old school summer favorite from my childhood. Look great with casual as well work clothes. Good pick. They didn't "yield" very much, since they're basically plastic, and they cut into my toes the first and only time I wore them. I've noticed a handful of reviews state the arch support is moderate. I personally have never worn anything with such great support. I was actually confused when I first put them on because of the great arch support, but took a few steps and was instantly sold. I have to say these are the most comfortable shoes I own. I love the height and color of the boots. I ordered the chocolate ones and they hide any dirt or water stains. You just have to be careful if you wear them in the rain, if it happens to me, I just make sure they stay up straight to avoid set-in wrinkles. Shipping was fast too. Overall I love them and look forward to wearing them again once it gets cold!
