That pretty much sums it up. These are expensive for a reason. They are very well made, have a great look, a comfortable footbed, and a sturdy sole. However... they cut my heels open every time. I wish I could get used to them as I've heard you're supposed to, but they are just painful. Very disappointing. I wore them cave exploring (in water), white water rafting, zip-lining, rappelling, horse back riding, and trekking through the jungle. This is by far the most expensive pair of flip flops I've ever purchased but they’re also the most comfortable I've ever worn by far!!! "Butter!" They have lasted better than any other slipper I have purchased and they are still comfortable 6 months later. These shoes are easy to put on, easy to take off, and seem to provide good arch support, which is rare in a sandal. My only issue is that the closures are a bit larger than necessary. The sandals still fit, but the sides don't match up exactly. In spite of that, the shoes stay on well and provide good protection for a sandal.
