They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. It is just high enough to look cute and flattering, and is so comfortable I want to wear them all the time. I said to myself $50 for flip flops, but my feet say thank you every time I slip them on. I would have preferred it in a black webbing vs. the bright colors available. Once the velcro straps were in place, I can now just insert my foot in the shoes and take off. I did find the toe pads inside the foot of the right sandal sticky at first but this has since disappeared. I will try the Keen brand again based on this shoe.
