The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. They are always comfortable, durable, and look great. I ordered the Ditto in gold. The gold thread is subtle, making the shoe a great neutral color. They were just what I was looking for in a wedge shoe. I wore them while walking all over Munich. Just a great shoe, as I have come to expect from Born. || Pleaser USA - Allure 610 (Silver Glitter) - Footwear On the fence about the Florin, but leaning towards returning them. I bought a black pair to wear with dark-colored summer dresses, but I think they are too "heavy" a style, if that makes any sense. Too casual to be dressy, but a bit too awkward for jeans. These run small for Born sizes (or big? not sure if I have my direction right -- whichever way means that my feet usually drown in Born shoes, but these were actually smaller than I expected). I usually wear a 7.5. The Florin size 7/38 basically fits, but is a fraction of a centimeter too short. As there are no half sizes, the next size up is far too large. Comfort-wise, the slope is pretty steep. This is great in the sense that it makes the foot look smaller, but the toe part of the foot bed isn't as cushioned as the heel. I've only worn them up and down my carpet, but I'm not convinced they would be comfortable all day. || Pleaser USA - Allure 610 (Silver Glitter) - Footwear High, but not painful - This is a great shoe if you are nuts for high heels, but need to walk a bit. The shoe runs a little short due to the padding. I normally order a 6 1/2, but wore a 7 in this shoe. It is not as comfortable as a wedge, but is the best high heeled pump I own for comfort at this height. || Pleaser USA - Allure 610 (Silver Glitter) - Footwear Great right out of the box - These shoes are super-comfortable, and required no breaking in. The only thing I was surprised by is that the upper toe of the shoe is made of a thick mesh, which is great for letting your feet breathe, but which does let in very fine dust and dirt.
