I wanted a sandal to walk in - these were really comfortable. Sole is not as flexible as other Donald Pliner shoes, so they do not bend a much when you walk. As such, I would not classify this as my most comfortable pair and I actually got some small blisters the first time out. Decor on sides of shoe sole is impressive. I read the reviews about ordering the shoe a half size larger than my actual shoe size. They have lasted better than any other slipper I have purchased and they are still comfortable 6 months later. He says they are the most comfortable rollerblades he's ever worn and loves how smooth they are. We recommend them. They are great with capris or skirts, sunny and fun to wear. They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. I would buy another pair if they had some colors other than white. || Pleaser USA - Glitzy 502-2 (Black Patent) - Footwear These shoes are absolutely beautiful, but so uncomfortable. The shoe is really narrow and the lower straps at the top of the shoe really dig into your foot. They also don't look nearly as nice on my feet as they do straight out of the box. I've been wearing Tsubos for years, but had never seen any that were less sneaker-like than the ones they became known for. The Lavinia's fabulous--it's a cute, simple shoe that's comfortable that I bought it in the other two colors Zappos carries. I replaced the insole with my custom orthotics, which fit perfectly, and wore them all day with no problems whatsoever. I wear them with skirts and jeans, and even got a compliment from a friend who's a high-end designer shoe snob. They seem to run a little narrow, so I don't know that they'd work for wider feet. But they're perfect for me--these are my new favorite shoes!
