I had no discomfort except for the ugly appearance. Nice clean sharp look creating the feel of a more formal sneaker, but remaining beautifully casual. Works well with various shades of khaki colored pants. It didn't come in the width I needed this time, so I ordered the Tour Walker. The Tour Walker is not as sturdy as the Vista Walker. I would like to have more support. If you don't need the additional support, I think this shoe would be fine. I like the velcro straps on both. I hope they start having the Vista Walker in the widest size. They both look nice and they are comfortable. || Pleaser USA - Kiss 254 (Black Patent) - Footwear Good Shoe - For the price, these are a really good shoe. They may not be as "cushy" as the more expensive sandals but they are great for a day at the beach. Helle is the only brand of shoes I have worn for years because this is the only brand that combines beauty and true foot health/comfort. My feet hurt terribly in all other dress/work shoes because I have flat feet and other foot challenges (probably from wearing women’s shoes all my life). Helle makes it a point to build in a REAL arch support. And of all the current Helle styles, this one is my absolute favorite. It is so cute and SO, SO, SO comfortable. I was searching for this particular Helle style when I discovered Zappos. I was surprised and thrilled to actually find these shoes - and then after I ordered them, I was delighted to discover that Zappos has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am in shoe heaven!!! I rarely wear heels and was able to dance all night in them! These are very comfortable and the wider heel was great for support and ease when either walking down the aisle or dancing on the dance floor. Zappos customer service was great also, as they originally didn't have my size, but assured me that they would before the wedding date...and sure enough they came in plenty of time.
