I have used driving mocs before but I wanted a sporty shoe. I first ordered a size 9. Too tight in the toe box and narrow. Reordered a size 9.5, a little better. Drove 7 hours, never did my foot slide off the pedal. Once again, I started getting pain in the toe box and the shoe felt like it was a visor. I could not wait to get out of the car and put my old Keds on. I did use them to drive back home. All I can say is try them if you like them. These are perfect - strappy and lightweight, but can withstand running around on gravel, grass, sand...you name it. I do agree with the reviewers who mention that the foot bed on this is rather flat.
