Helle is the only brand of shoes I have worn for years because this is the only brand that combines beauty and true foot health/comfort. My feet hurt terribly in all other dress/work shoes because I have flat feet and other foot challenges (probably from wearing women’s shoes all my life). Helle makes it a point to build in a REAL arch support. And of all the current Helle styles, this one is my absolute favorite. It is so cute and SO, SO, SO comfortable. I was searching for this particular Helle style when I discovered Zappos. I was surprised and thrilled to actually find these shoes - and then after I ordered them, I was delighted to discover that Zappos has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am in shoe heaven!!! Thank you Zappos! || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear I really want to like these but... I’m still not sure they’re worth the money. (Zappos has the lowest price though. I love Zappos!) Pluses: Does seem to work butt and core a little more than regular shoes. Very comfortable. Also looks groovy with workout attire. And the added height is nice. Minuses: Isn’t helping my plantar fasciitis. Can be slippery since your outsole is never completely flat on the ground. Not great for standing in place without leaning against anything, since you rock back and forth like a tipsy person. Tips for sizing: I wear a 7W and bought a 7.5M so my toes wouldn’t come too close to the front edge when foot rolls forward. Make sure you adjust the straps so your heel is as far back as possible, so you can really get the full rolling effect. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear Great sandal - I love these sandals. The first day I wore them, they were a little stiff, but after that became nice and soft. I have worn them all day without any problems. I only wish they had a little bit more arch support. I will definitely buy these shoes again. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear Very Cute - I ordered this cute wedge in a 9W as I have problem feet. The fit was accurate and they look great on. I wear them with jeans or skirts as they are versatile. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear Cute and comfortable. I love shoes and I'm on my feet a lot. I hate the look of a lot of comfortable shoes but these are cute. I'm not sure if the lack of arch support will be a problem but so far it's good. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear The shoe itself was okay except for one feature: the tongue. The tongue is so long and overly padded that you cannot cinch the laces down tight over it. This means you are constantly retying and adjusting it, and cinching it down super tight which ends up hurting your foot. If North Face fixed the tongue, it would be a great shoe, but the current tongue is a huge problem and makes the shoe extremely uncomfortable. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear Good Shoe - For the price, these are a really good shoe. They may not be as "cushy" as the more expensive sandals but they are great for a day at the beach. I’m considering a second pair in a different color. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear Merrell Fan! I've been wearing Merrells for the past seven years, since my third year of medical school and couldn’t imagine wearing anything else for work as I'm on my feet all day. I've had pretty much every style and color during that time and I've never been unhappy with any of them. || Rachel Kids - Amber (Toddler/Youth) (Black Micro) - Footwear Comfortable for a little while - Comfortable at first - like the style - then tried to wear them all day for some serious walking around town... got arch cramps and a huge blister between my toes. Haven't worn again - am sure I can soften up the toe hold, but the cramp issue may come back. The footbed is very comfortable and the straps secure... as to be expected with Born shoes. Slightly challenging to put on and buckle while standing.
