They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. I have wide feet and it is extremely difficult finding comfortable shoes where I live. I normally require a wide width, however when ordering these shoes I decided to get a WW because my feet tend to swell in the summer. The fit is fabulous. I plan to order the navy as well. I have to wear flats most of the time and this shoe looks so sharp without being a high heel. I get a lot of compliments on it. The only thing I was a little concerned about that it stretches quite a bit. Normally Geox shoes don't do that. Easy on/easy off like a loafer with the styling of a sneaker. Converse shoes are rather flat, so there's not much arch support with these, but there is enough cushioning so that my feet don't ache as terribly as they would with flip-flops or sandals. These have a really relaxed fit around the foot/toebox and they also run rather large. I normally wear a 7/7.5 and I bought these in a 6.5 - I don't wear socks with them. || Roxy - Long Way Home (Clay) - Bags and Luggage Narrow in the toe... Overall, the shoe is a very true fit. However, the toe area is a bit narrow, so beware if you have wide toes. (The width is a pretty true fit in the ball of the foot.) Comfortable given how high the heel is. The color in the photo is a little off -- they are a little lighter blue, more like a faded denim.
