She has worn only Crocs since she was 1 1/2 years old and she was excited to add a new style to her collection. They stay on her feet much better than sandals/flip flops yet they give her the feel of a sandal since the toe is open. From first putting them on to taking them off. The laces get loose during a hike and they slip off the hooks on top. To prevent them from coming off you have to tie them on too tight. It is comfortable from the start, but not good for walking a lot. Africa, hoping to have a walking sandal that could withstand hours on the road. However, I have found that the footing is slippery and my foot slides back and forth, making walking unsteady. I would not recommend this sandal for walking, but it is comfortable otherwise and attractive.
