I have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes, these are fabulous. They are true to size. I have bought the shoe in two different colors and get comments on both the red and the green. I would say the Cole Haan shoe overall is true to size. This shoe is no exception. I had tried other shoes from my local stores, but they didn't fit right. A very convenient, spacious bag but doesn't look bulky on the arm. However, the toe area is a bit narrow, so beware if you have wide toes. (The width is a pretty true fit in the ball of the foot.) Comfortable given how high the heel is. I wear a 9.5 for everything and the 9.5 fit perfectly. It looks even cuter on and in person than online. The only flaw so far is that the silver insole started to come off a little with the first wear. It’s not bothersome and can probably be glued back on.
