That pretty much sums it up. These are expensive for a reason. They are very well made, have a great look, a comfortable footbed, and a sturdy sole. However... they cut my heels open every time. I wish I could get used to them as I've heard you're supposed to, but they are just painful. Very disappointing. I marked "half size larger" because I bought an 8.5 and have since been wearing a 9 and they still feel like they fit. || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear FANTASTIC shoes!!! These shoes are comfortable for those of us with bunions. I have absolutely horrible bunions on both feet. Typically, I don't order shoes online because it is hard enough to find a pair that fit when I can try them on. Based on another reviewer’s comment (thanks!), I took a chance and got very lucky. These shoes even help make my feet look better as the design of the shoe covers up those darn unsightly bunions. Zappos customer service is fantastic, so absolutely no complaints there. The only slightly negative thing I can think of concerning these shoes is the strap around the ankle. It seems a little too long as it wasn't as snug as I thought it should be. This can be a good thing since it certainly wasn't too tight. The strap did stay put for nearly 10 hrs of walking and dancing, so it's really not a major problem. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with my purchase. Now, I think I'll have to buy the black ones! I wear a size 6. || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear Geox Venom - Great shoe. Lived up to my expectations for quality and comfort. I especially like the ventilation system in Geox shoes for summer. I feel good about my son's developing feet in these shoes. He thinks he can run faster and jump higher and climb better in them. Over all I couldn't be happier. || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear Comfy flip flops - This shoe, albeit incredibly ugly, was great for walking around the beach on my honeymoon. I had no discomfort except for the ugly appearance. Good for comfort, bad for matching clothes. || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear 2nd pair of Shuttles - These are the greatest sandals ever. They offer a little bit of toe protection and with the slightly curved up nose, I rarely wind up with rocks/sand in my shoes. I get tons of compliments and am often asked where I got them. They are very true to size - I wear an 8.5 dress shoe and the 8.5 sandal fits perfectly. I have rather narrow feet and sandals pose a problem because they are always slipping off. Because of the wrap design, the Shuttles don't slip, slide, wobble and they aren't overly tight. They are perfect. || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear Really nice shoes! These were not super-comfortable out of the box; they took a couple of wearings to "break in." However, by the 3rd or 4th day...awesome! The gold is a little bright for me but I can live with it. Overall I would try this brand again. || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear Oakley Piper 9" Boardshort - A very comfortable and good-looking summer short: the length is perfect for longer legs and the material is super comfortable. I liked the pink bow on the beige shorts (which is the style I have) and these are a great short for casual clothes! || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear Favorite Walking Shoe - This is the 1st shoe to make me shelve every sneaker I own. They are the true workhorse in my shoe wardrobe. I bought them to take to Italy last August for a BackRoads cycling tour of Tuscany. They were the perfect "stylish" walking shoe and provided wonderful support. Please do not take them out of the lineup - ever! || Tifosi Optics - Czar Polarized (Tortoise (Brown Polarized Lens)) - Eyewear Merrell's Encore Breeze - Just the shoe I was hoping it would be! I now have three (3) pairs of Merrell's. You can't go wrong. I'm glad Zappos added Merrell to their choices. I wear a small size and seldom can find it in stores.
